The Scotia combination grate.  This cast iron Victorian bedroom fireplace has an exquisite fine casting which made it a very popular design back in the day.  Circa 1884.

This fireplace was manufactured by W & A.C. Russell & Company of the Scotia Foundry , Pendleton near Manchester , the design was registered 14th March 1884 .

The fireplace in the photographs is now sold , but we do have the identical model awaiting restoration .
