Product Description

The Prince.  This reclaimed tiled combination grate was very popular in the Edwardian period. Circa 1903.

Finished with matt black paint.

Manufactured by Frederick Smith of the Openshaw bridge iron works , in the county of Lancashire.

It was removed from a bedroom, of a house in Old Trafford, Manchester.

During restoration the cast iron back has had some minor repairs , making it only suitable for decorative use.

The set of Antique tiles in the photographs are an additional £180.00.

The tiles can be changed or moved into another tiled fireplace if required as we always have over 100 sets of antique tiles available. All our antique tiled fireplaces are delivered with their tiles already plastered in place ready for immediate installation.
